We are experienced at bringing our shop to conferences. All we need you to provide is a suitably sized table, two chairs and electricity in the same space as the delegates. (We know from experience that being in a separate room or space just doesn’t work). It’s easy and no cost for you to invite us to provide a shop for your delegates.

How we add value to your conference

Our shop adds value to your conference in a number of ways.

  • Sarah is an experienced consultant and coach and is happy to have informal chats with your delegates to support them in their work as they browse.
  • We know and use our products, can answer questions about them, and can help delegates select the best product to meet their particular need.
  • Delegates can see, extensively handle and ask questions about products they are interested in. This is a very different experience to trying to select products online and allows delegates to make well-informed decisions.
  • We are always happy to present an informative workshop session  that also showcases one of our products. This allows delegates to get a real sense of the tool and the value it can bring to their practice.

The Commercials

We are a small organization and excessive exhibitor or sponsor fees make it impossible for us to support your conference.

Instead, we offer the following possibilities.

We will offer an ‘on the day’ discount on all purchases, which added to cost-of-postage saving represents a very good deal for your delegates.

Or

We will donate a proportion of the sales made (gross revenue generated) to the conference organisers or the charity the conference is supporting.

In addition, we will provide two people to service the shop so there is always cover, and so that people can have useful chats with Sarah without holding up people who want to purchase.

We have card technology making it easy for people to purchase from the shop.

We provide robust, recyclable paper bags for those who need them.

We cover our own costs of travel and, if necessary, overnight accommodation.

We run a ‘free prize draw’ for all delegates who subscribe to our newsletter on the day, meaning one lucky delegate will win a free product from the shop.

Does your conference qualify?

We are happy to consider invitations from conferences in the general field of people development. Typical conference domains include

  • Coaching
  • People Development
  • Organisational Development
  • Positive Psychology
  • Organisational Change
  • Facilitation
  • Team Development
  • Appreciative Inquiry
  • Health and Wellbeing

We are also keen to hear about other opportunities where you think our shop might be a good fit for your conference.

How big does our conference have to be?

It all depends on where the shop is situated in the conference venue (we’re very happy to be all in one room with delegates, we don’t disturb sessions), and how far it is from London.

Interestingly, if it’s the right audience for us, a small conference can work very well. For example, we have been a great success at conferences of 30-50 enthusiastic practitioners, adding an extra dimension to a small and intimate conference.

On the other hand, we know that student dominated conferences don’t work for us, even large ones. In our experience students generally just aren’t at the right stage in their career to see the value of physical development tools.

How far is too far to come?

If we can drive to you and back in a day, and it’s a practitioner conference, if delegates can easily see us, and particularly if we can help out with running a session, then it’s likely to be a good fit.

If you are beyond a day’s return travel, then we would definitely be looking for an opportunity to present a session, and probably need a larger anticipated audience.

But we are firmly of the view that all things are negotiable with goodwill. So please do contact us if you think our shop would add value to your conference, and lets’ see if we can make it happen!
